In Discovery, we aim to increase the output of high quality candidate drugs (CDs) with a lower risk of failure in development. Our strategic effort to significantly upgrade the links between clinical medicine and basic science ('Discovery-Medicine') helps us gain a better understanding of human diseases and how future drugs will work to prevent and treat those diseases.
